Use cases
Automate quote approval
A quote waiting for approval is a sale going cold. Between the rep chasing by email, the manager approving from a phone and the customer left guessing, the information disappears into inboxes. InProcess replaces that informal loop with an explicit process you describe in a sentence and run the next day.
What goes wrong today
- Quotes sit in an inbox, with nobody able to say which one is stuck or for how long.
- Rejections arrive without a written reason, so the same mistake comes back on the next quote.
- Nobody can say, at a given moment, how many quotes are pending and for what amount.
- When the approver is away, the flow stops and nobody notices.
The process you get
- 1
The rep submits the quote
A guided form collects the customer, amount, deadline and file. Required fields are checked before submission, so no incomplete case enters the flow.
- 2
The manager approves or rejects
They get a task in the app or by SMS, see the quote and decide. A rejection requires a written reason, which goes straight back to the rep.
- 3
The rep fixes it if needed
On rejection the quote returns to its author with the comment, and re-enters the flow once corrected.
- 4
The customer receives the approved quote
The email is sent from your Gmail or Outlook account through the integration, quote attached. Nothing to re-enter.
What changes
- Every quote has a visible status: pending, approved, rejected, corrected.
- Approval times become measurable, and therefore manageable.
- Rejection reasons are stored and can be used to coach the team.
- A dashboard shows pending quotes and their total value in real time.
Other common processes
- Automate leave requests
- Automate customer support
- Automate worksite tracking
- Automate employee onboarding
- Automate purchase requests
